Common Questions?

Our team receives many questions about our community – from amenities to floor plans to our levels of care. Here are our most commonly asked questions and their answers!

Memory care is a level of care specifically for older adults who live with diseases that affect their memory, like Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Caregivers in memory care receive specialized training to provide the necessary support residents need to feel comfortable and happy in their routine.

No, our community is not like a nursing home. Nursing homes are specialized facilities that provide 24/7 medical care to individuals who require ongoing care. As a senior living community, we can provide some medical services, but our residents do not need 24/7 medical care. Instead, residents can live mostly independently, and our caregivers are there to provide personalized support when residents need it.

Independent living is for older adults who can still live independently but are looking for a place where everything becomes a bit easier – from forming friendships to housekeeping to finding things to do. While very similar, the most significant difference for assisted living is that residents may need help with certain activities like getting dressed, bathing, eating or taking medications. While they receive personalized support, they can live mostly independently.

Caregivers are selected after a thorough interview process. They undergo multiple interviews, background checks and credential checks. Once they complete the onboarding process and are added to the team, they complete our training to learn our specific values and care expectations.
